Cosmetic micro acupuncture

What is cosmetic micro acupuncture?

A medical device like derma pen etc. used for the purpose of breaking down old scar tissue and stimulate skin cells for proliferation. This multiplication results in the creation of new tissue layers of elastin and collagen fibers, as well as improved blood supply.
How does it work?
The device glides gently along the skin, penetrating the layers of the skin closest to the surface, of a depth of up to 2mm to create numerous tiny needle wounds. The therapy encourages the body to respond through creation new collagen and elastin fibers. As the skin responds, it plumps and thickens, reducing the appearance of scars, wrinkles and fine lines.
What conditions does cosmetic micro acupuncture treat?*
Mild to moderate acne scarring

Surgical scarring

Fine lines and wrinkles

Stretch marks

Pore size and skin texture

Keloid scarring
•alopecia
•hairfall
•and many more

What can I expect from the procedure?
The skin is cleaned and numbing cream may be applied to lessen discomfort. For better results we use a collagen-stimulating product of Ayurveda. A small microacupuncture pen like device with a sterile, disposable tip with tiny needles is then used to pierce the skin. Our micro acupuncture needling pen’s multi-speed and adjustable needle depth allow needles to pierce the skin’s layer at 90 degrees and increase the absorption of products. After the treatment, soothing of some antiseptic cream is been use on skin to heal and protect the skin.
How will I look after treatment?
Sometimes. Most people will experience mild redness and possibly some swelling. The same way you may feel with a mild sunburn. Effects may last for 24-48 hours and there may be pinpoint bleeding and/or bruising. Within several days to several weeks you will notice a smoother, brighter, and more radiant appearance, however, the full effects of the treatment do not appear until several months later.
What is the down time like?
The inflammatory reaction of the skin is extremely short and fades significantly within hours from redness to pinkish that may last for 12 to 48 hours. In order to reduce visible redness, we recommend rub ice cube  after the procedure, and to protect the skin with zinc based sunblock. The use of sunscream may be used after procedure
What effects does micro-needling have n the skin?*
Reduces pore size
Improves the quality and texture of the skin
Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
Improves the look of disfiguring scars from surgery, accidents or acne.
Will it be painful?
Numbing cream can be applied prior to the treatment which drastically minimizes or eliminates any pain altogether.
Are there any risks?
The tiny pricking channels close within one hour, and because the procedure is performed under clinical conditions, so there is no risk
How many treatments do I need and how often?
Micro-needling can be safely repeated every 4 to 5 days in week until you achieve the desired results. For collagen induction we recommend to start with 5 treatments, but with a minimum separation time of 3 to 4 days between treatments. For scar reduction an average of 10 to 15 treatments are recommended. Or even more number of treatments required will depend on how each individual responds to the treatments, and the extent of the damage at the beginning Micro-needling acupuncture can be used on all skin parts of the body (neck, ,arms, legs, etc). Most people will begin to see results after the very first appointment.
Can cosmetic micro Acupuncture be performed for all skin types and colors?
Absolutely. It’s safe and effective for all types and colors of skin. There is no risk of post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation.
What are the side effects?
No negative side effects from the procedure.
